Event Title: NV Energy Case Study Residential Pilot Battery Storage

Summary:

Starting in 2009, NV Energy worked with UNLV and Pulte Homes under a Federal Grant program to demonstrate the integration of several different types of Distributed Energy Resources. The partners worked to deploy a package of energy efficiency, demand response, and solar photovoltaics at all homes in the residential community of Villa Trieste in Summerlin, Las Vegas. As part of the grant, the team worked to include behind the meter batteries at ten of the homes as way to test technology readiness and the capability to realize energy storage value streams for both customers and NV Energy grid operations. Come join us to learn more about the context of the pilot, results to date, on ongoing efforts.
