Welcome

Topic

Net Zero Buildings - These buildings combine energy efficiency and renewable energy generation to consume only as much energy as can be produced onsite. Heard of them? Achieving zero energy is an ambitious yet increasingly achievable goal that is gaining momentum across geographic regions and markets. In 2019, zero energy buildings counts was near 600 according to New Buildings Institute.

Rick will be presenting on some important changes in the design and development industries related to the electrification of buildings and the growing emphasis on Net Zero and Net Zero-Ready buildings.

Building owners and developers with national and international building portfolios are paying close attention to the 'Zero Codes' as a way to improve the performance and overall resilience of their building stock and the design industry needs to be prepared to be able to meet these standards in the coming years.

Join us for a relevant, cutting-edge presentation about the design, purpose, and drive towards Zero Net Buildings which are now becoming commonplace.
